Re: remix!

yes, no doubt geek check. Who remembers the 80's? Very impressive I forgot how great the tight mic'd palm muted thirds of the scooped Mark IV's sounded. between this album and Anthrax State of Euphoria, I still love that sound. sure, the mark iv is great but that's not what it is. james used a mark ...

I'm going out on a limb, and guess that people are more ashamed of themselves at that age then the music itself. I get a mini kick out of most of the old stuff I hear, but not enought to listen to more than a song or two from Iron Maiden, Prong, Seaweed, Bad Religion, Helmet. to some extent, Sonic Y...

remix!

I was just listening in the car, inspired by this forum. They should remix this thing with some bass guitar. I probably wouldn't buy it, but if they offered it as a free downlo-hahahahah right! I forgot how great the tight mic'd palm muted thirds of the scooped Mark IV's sounded. between this album ...

justice

I remember reading that the bass drum sound was the only thing they wanted to take to the black album I sort of thought AJFA was an 'end of an era' kind of album, and they wanted a different sound for the 90's, trying to beat Seattle to the new sound. Marshalls instead of Mesa Boogies. Pot instead o...

I have had similar grinding sounds, although mine are more like crackling from the power supply. I think the problem is the CPU overheating. Check your sink, vaccum out any dust, that sort of thing. I suppose it could also be a RAM issue, you could pull each chip to see how it affects the performance.

I forgive Canada for the Barenaked Ladies because you've also given us Lightfoot, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Ron Sexsmith, and (gulp) Rush, among many others ... The latest is The Great Lake Swimmers, light alternative, (They call themselves some kind of country) The singer has a golden voice, but ...

how strange, the gails of november. I just moved to rosedale, and decided to seekout the old Lightfoot house, and finally yesterday figured out which one it is (he doesn't live there anymore). also, yesterday, when sorting Vinyl, I stopped on Lightfoot, and threw it on..."black day in July" in memor...

Bad timing is a great recording for him as a musician/artist. I laughed for about half an hour after listening to it the first itme, it just seemed like the joke was on me the whole time.

the ending is like the credits where they re-introduce the cast without the masks, if that makes any sense.

I was going to say something about a hot plate, I have an Ampeg VL501 with a power soak which is great for recording and if you are up for it, maintaining the volume/sound balance through a live set. The amp eats up tubes faster than my Orange and Twin combined, and there isn't really that much flav...
