Is the RE55 the deluxe version of the 635, or is that the RE50? I know that in the case of the 635 the polar pattern is different at different frequencies--it's not truly omni across the board. This can be a very good thing in many situations, maybe not so good in others. I know a few other omni dyn...

A replacement knob for my stove cost 25 bucks, so 4 doesn't seem all that outrageous.

It's not what's in that video, but a synare is similar--it's a drum synth/drum pad all in one. They're fun little things.

Outside of a bad connection on a switch or an XLR, there's really nothing you'd be able to fix on one of these. They're simple enough to take apart though, & it's kind of fun if you're into that kind of thing. If you look inside, see if there's a very thin wire leading to the diaphragm that's broken...

Peavey VMP-2 is in the $600.00-$750.00 range. Not a perfect pre, but a pretty dang nice one.

One more thought: email D&R with your questions. They seemed like friendly enough folk when I emailed them some years back, & they might could at least help you figure out what was originally there.

Panels are my least favorite part of module building. Cutting, drilling, getting everything labeled--always takes me forever & never works as well as I'd like. However, I've recently been experimenting with using a laser printer to print to label backing paper, then spritzing the panel with 3M Super...

My only experience with D&R is the Series 2000, but I'd think the best solution might be to get appropriate XLR's & go back to how it was. The former owner didn't chop on the XLR holes in the chassis, did he? That could be a problem.

I sold mine--probably on this very message board--several years back for $350 or so. The Super EQ is the only real standout feature--I don't really get the money they're bringing in these days. I do still have my SW 242 spring reverb though--definitely worth the $10 I paid for it. It's like a fuzzbo...

Well, there was no way I could figure to get the jack out, as I couldn't get the nut past the plug. So I took tin snips to the bit of plug shaft that would come out of the jack. That took care of things. New jack is installed, guitar is not destroyed, old jack has gone to meet its maker.

Nope to both.

It feels like it's catching on something--like a barb in a fishing hook, the more I struggle, the more it seems to resist.

Cord stuck in guitar jack

Anybody ever have this happen? I just picked up a Yamaha acoustic that somebody had thrown a pickup into. I plugged a standard guitar cable in, & now it's stuck. It'll come out about 1/4", then no more. I've reached in the guitar to try to move it & no luck. It's a closed frame, like-Switchcraft-onl...

I personally like the Yamaha MZ series--made in the 80's, nice workhorse dynamics. Having said that, I don't have any experience with the 104, but I'm sure it'll be a useful bugger.

2 dbx 160X comps with Jensen output xfrmrs SOLD

A pair of dbx 160X compressors. They work great and look very good--on has a couple of minor scratches on the face plate, very minimal rack rash. And they have the optional Jensen output transformers.
SOLD
