Question about AT 4033
Are there any major differences between the at4033 as they are currently made and the ones that were made a few years ago before they were discontinued?

Re: reason and protools
If you're talking about Rewire, I think the full version of Reason comes with it. I use Nuendo, not Protools, but that is how it worked for me.

Re: Recording with two amps
I use a whirlwind "selector" box and a Boss tuner, or something with more outs on it to split to three amps usually. I like to print in 3's. L-C-R. Deductive reasoning is the best way to troubleshoot anything in the studio. If you introduce something into any chain, and things get weird: UN introdu...

Re: Recording with two amps
One of the amps sounds fine. The other (the one I said might have a power tube problem) sounds a little watery. I've decided to retube it tomorrow and see if that's all it was.
For the future, can you recommend such a splitter with a transformer?
Thanks for the quick responses!

Recording with two amps
Hi, I haven't utfso but anyways, I'm trying to record guitar through two amps at the same time. I am running the guitar into an a/b/y footswitch, with one output going to each amp. is this the correct way to split the signal? will this lead to a signal level problem or any other adverse side effect?...

Re: Tascam m16. Sound good?
I had an MS-16 for a few years. They do sound great. I really really hate the transport on these machines, though. My transport was all effed up and I brought it to several techs who could do nothing. My other complaint is that the machine is designed in such a way that it is very difficult to get t...

Re: Ripped off on EBAY: Is there something to do??
I think they're talking about a subpoena (spelling) of sorts. The guy who ripped me off had a Roadrunner account, and they needed a court order from the FBI to release the info. As I said, the FBI never acted on the complaint despite the fact that about 3-5 other people complained. Ebay eventually g...

Re: Ripped off on EBAY: Is there something to do??
I got ripped off once for a Korg Triton Pro for $1750. Holy crap. The person that ripped me off also sold someone land that didn't exist on ebay, as well as other things. What we found out is that the FBI keeps a database on these things, but until the person involved has dozens of complaints agains...

Re: Music Man!
If you wouldn't mind tracking it down... that'd be swell. My amp is still in the shop and they've had it for 4 months with no luck since they claim no replacement exists. If this works out, I'll know never to go to this repair shop again.
Thank you in advance!
