BUT - if you're concerned about this, enter your own clause either retracting that, or probably a more tactful way to approach it is "any fu...

usually the barcode difference between vinyl and cd is just by 1 number, but is most definitely different. retail stores don't wanna be ordering more records when they only ran out of cds, for one, and same for your distribution. yep. so apparently you can use the same UPC for the cd and digital ve...

this may have already come up, i didn't read all 7 pages of the thread... but ODB Nigga Please came on my itunes today and a) damn, is that a great record. b) it made me think wonder if that record would get made today, since the current standard in mainstream hip hop is hyper AT. probably, ODB was ...

i had to do this YEARS ago - so my memory is very fuzzy - but you can do this yourself. and i think it was pretty easy, but kind of annoying. i think you had to take the back portion off as well? completely clear off the table, and start unscrewing whatever screws you can, eventually you'll expose t...

day rates for bands. then i'll break into 1/3rd day rates as needed (ie i'll treat 3 evenings as one day) bill at end of a block of work (basics/overdubs/mix) what are you doing that only takes 40 min in one sitting? if it's just a data backup or something as part of a larger project, you might just...

The next survey is close to 100 questions and likely will be longer. There is much more information covered in the next one. speaking from a marking standpoint - that's a rediculously high barrier of entry - i hope you're providing an incentive for successful completions. there's not even enough in...

http://stickerguy.com/ is the venerable 'punk rock' / cheap place that's been at it for years... but the cheap cost is a slow turnaround since he bulks up orders to do one big master sheet, then cut up... i've also used http://www.jakprints.com/ w/ good results for a faster turnaround. and i've also...

great suggestions all over so far, my band's done this as well - only thing to add is maybe try modifying the output of the keyboard/drum machine to separate the kick/snare by panning them L/R (unless there's weird fill stuff) so you have a little more control in mixdown. then you can reamp/blend w/...

listened to the latest revisions and approved [pre/digital] masters for my bands new record. there were some weird wrinkles regarding splices on the master tapes that were more exposed after mastering, so we ended up re-dumping the mixes to a new section of tape, and having those 2 songs remastered....
