I wouldn't trade 'em. I think YRC will be the vintage collectable set of the future. I've got that kit, same era, 24,13,16. Coated ambassadors top, clear ambs bottom, something heavier on the kick. Boom & crack out the woohoo. I am not a pro.

I believe MeriLoc was a first. And a huge innovation. Swiv-o-matic is an awesome name though.

You could replace the mounts on your toms and bass drum and go with any brand you want, though vintage drum guys will shoot me for saying so. Gibraltar is a decent retrofit brand. I have my Swiv-o-matics fitted with Pearl mounts and RIMS on a floor stand. Not cheap but no damage to the shells.

The pic you posted shows Memri-Loc hardware. One of Nordberg's links shows Memri-Loc, one shows Swiv-o-matic type hardware. They are not interchangeable. Ask someone knowledgeable to identify which style you have and go from there. Or post a pic here of the mount hardware on your toms and someone wi...

Also: Bad Brains' 1st album has always come to mind as example of 'this could be so much more awesome if it sounded better' If you're talking about the ROIR "lightning over the capital building" album, have a little respect. It's four track 1/4" tape and the best mic on the session was a borrowed, b...

I got this reply when I emailed NI about the B4 cancellation: "Native Instruments has discontinued Akoustik Piano, B4 II, Bandstand, Elektrik Piano and Pro-53 as individual products on September 1st. This allows Native Instruments to further concentrate its resources on those products and technologi...

Loganwexler is correct. You also have to rename them to differentiate them from your starting point, which is the default name. Then drag your new folder into the locations column of the patch browser (accessed by the file shaped button next to the diskette button) to access them directly from Reason.

to The Thing
If you dug previous versions of DP, but were scared of the flac you heard about DP6, DP7 seems to fix it (I never bought DP6, so no first hand experience). If you don't know already, Motunation is the place to be for this kind of info. Lovin' it still.
