It's just for my own use. It's in a building with other businesses and private music rooms. I have no budget for acoustic treatment. What does it sound like if you hit hard with those rods?

Thanks

I need to quiet my drums

I'm renting a room to setup a personal recording studio. It's a small room. I have slight concerns with being too loud (mostly drums) because of neighbors in the building. I'm trying to figure out a way to make my drums quiet, but still sound good. It is going to be a "demo" studio, but I'd like for...

Small bass amps for recording

A few years ago I was recording an album in Boston and used this little ampeg for the bass. I don't remember what model it was but it was old and seemed to be a guitar amp. Anyhow it rocked for the record. Lately I've been trying to find a cool little amp to record bass with. Something to compliment...

Upgrading a Mexican Strat

So my first guitar was a mexican strat and I still love the thing. I want it to become one of my main guitars again but it needs some work. It's from the mid 90's. Over the years I've replaced the bridge pickup with a Dimarzio Super Distortion (I was 12 and anything with "super" or "distortion" was ...

The converter light lights up, but the 1394 light does not. My computer says there's a hardware problem and ...

I was thinking maybe it would help if i finally got an external drive, so there'd be nothing on it besides the sessions for the record.

converter question

So I have an opportunity to borrow one of these for an upcoming record I'm doing. I'm wondering how much nicer these converters are compared to the ones in my 002. If they are similar enough I don't want to ask the favor of borrowing it. I won't be recording more than 2 tracks at once so I'd be able...

Hands down my favorite bridge of all time is in "Truth Hits Everybody" by the Police. I'm borderline obsesssed with it as a songwriter.
