Yes, illustrator would be preferable to photoshop for laying out graphics to be screen onto racked equipment. Unless you wanted to do stuff like the pink 80's A.R.T. reverbs, in which case you might use photoshop first and then bring your work into illustrator. i think the original question was whe...
