Good thought but I doubt it. What I also should have mentioned is that this sound only occurs on the songs, to the songs. If it were the case of a mismacthed set up or phase issues(ha ha) then it would affect the sound of the entire movie. This is most definitely something that was done to the mixes...

I suppose you're right nlmd311, as long as the connections are compatible it's all just sound running through a compressor/limiter. I'll have to use my RNC for this purpose as a test before making a purchase.
