I have both. Yes the germ is more flavored. People gush about it because it is a nice flavor. It sounds amazing on many things, but it is not for everything. the GR can be a very clean pre or a fairly colored pre. It has much more gain which also makes it more versatile. Can someone tell me the difference between the 351 and 601/2, and while
