Isn't it high time in this thread that one party accuse another of being an RIAA shill? That's how these arguments unfold, right?*

*As stale as this discussion can be, it's nice to see it happening without the usual ad hominem BS.

Larry Graham invented slap bass, and I think he's generally pretty good at it. William Collins seems to do a good job. And the guy from Slave. And Lakeside. And Victor Bailey. And George Porter Junior (though he doesn't do it much). And a whole bunch of other guys. The mere though of Gabe telling La...

I needed to update this yesterday, but I was totally slammed. The label has posted the whole thing to the bandcamp page. As I mentioned before, I did the remix of Little Paper Birds. Even though I tracked it in Logic, I didn't use any virtual instruments. Everything on that remix had a mic in front ...

Loaded in PA and then ran monitors for Wussy (total co-incidence, having nothing to do with the remix cd I just worked on for them), Male Bonding and Best Coast. Our Saturday headliner needs 7 mixes, so we've got an A&H GL4000 for monitors.

Free Wussy Remix

Free in the sense that you'll have to give up your email to get it. Anyway, I did this one. I hope you like. There's one I did of Little Paper Birds that's a bit more Tape-opey. http://allnightparty.bandcamp.com/ If you are in the Cincinnati area, we're doing a listening party for the whole project ...

look professional up in the dictionary. I'm sure you'll find you're just talking about marketing that is so archaic that no one thinks of it as marketing anymore. Look at the contents of my previous posts. I'm sure you'll find that you understand my point :D "Pro line" is generally how reed/brass p...

Lupa in the Village. Mario Batali, but very reasonably priced. The chicken diavolo was the best bird I've ever had.

A lot of woodwind and brass brands are divided into "beginner", "intermediate", and "pro" lines. So the Superaction 80 alto that I got my junior year of HS was my first pro horn. I think that you missed the point. The "pro" on your horn is just a word to facilitate marketing. Your horn is not profe...
