Re: Tube Mic Reccomendations?

Is there anything you dont like about the 149?

I love my 121, but I always need another mic with it on guitar cabs.

Tube Mic Reccomendations?

Re: Miking Brushed Drums (on a budget of course)

Ive never had to record brushes, but my first thought would be to use a condenser on the snare. Re: Going to Nashville........Tennesse that is...

Even if you are not generally into tourist hell, that whole downtown strip is like another planet. My impressions the first time I went there years ago are still pretty vivid. EVERY bar and I mean EVERY bar had a live band and this was at like, 3PM, and all the bands, while not my bag, were full of ...

Re: Alley Farfisa

if yours was built the same time mine was, you should really replace all the blue EE caps in there. whatever stock of caps they had in italy at the time my organ and several of my wahs were built, were really shitty and they've all dried out. Unfortunately, there are about a billion of those caps in...

Re: Alley Farfisa

I have a grey compact deluxe which has a fuse rating of 0.5 amps. It has a screw in fuse cap, which you need a screwdriver to access. Personally, I'd just order a whole new holder from mouser and drill a hoel and stick it in, lot easier than trying to locate a cap with a specific thread. If the thin...
