Re: dangers of running a synth on LESS voltage than its rate

The synth undoubtedly has an internal power supply that rectifies the AC in and regulates it. =-a Not correct - The Rogue has an external power supply I would suspect running it at 18 VDC from a switching power supply wouldn't be too bad but I would test it with both waveforms & volume maxed-out, t...

I would consider maybe adding under your "Delivery Format Required" section some sort of "deadline date" so that all parties are aware of the schedule, particularly if the overall schedule is tight and other resources are counting on you to hit a target deadline.

I just did this with my new album and decided to go with Paypal as it was pretty much the easiest way to do the transaction for the buyer & seller. I think paying by Paypal took only two pages to complete the order and alot of people already have Paypal accounts and trust its security. It wasn't tha...

...and if for some reason your monitors are "way" above ear height and you can't bring them down to eye level, you can rotate them 90 degrees (lay them on their sides with the tweeters inside) and this will reduce some of the phasing problems that typically occur when you get too far below the sweet...

MAX MSP. You would build a patch that does exactly what you want it to do. Ditto. It's pretty much the neatest, most powerful software I've ever used (i.e. "made") to do these sort of custom audio apps....and it's easily configurable on the I/O & MIDI side to work with your existing hardware. It's ...

In mounting foam panels on my walls, I've been using these 3" long T-pins that I got from the art store and installing them with needlenosepliers. Very easy if you can tolerate a few tack holes and your substrate is drywall.

I have found some success in this config using a D112 situated about 20" from the front skin (or further), 13" outwards from the center of the drum (lined with the shell), and 8" off the floor. This was with a 26" DW Maple Shell Bass Drum, no ported heads, in a 10' x 25' x 8' room, with the kick in ...
