Yes, you can clock the Digimax off of the Apogee. Just go ahead and Connect the Wordclock out of the apogee to the world clock in of the Digimax and set the digimax to external. On the other hand, if you wanted to upgrade your clocking in your studio, here's what you could do to maybe even get some ...

I've heard that Teach Yourself Electricity and Electronics by Stan Gibilisco is great. I personally haven't read it but like I said, I've heard good things. Right now you can get the 3rd and 4th edition and the price difference is only like a dollar so I'd go for 4th cause there are some good update...

From what I've found in the past looking for Sony specific manuals... They are by far the hardest to find and Sony has never been much help when trying to get a hold of them.

I can't remember the exact name and I don't have a rig in front of me otherwise I'd look, but if you look in your Root Session folder, there's a folder that says, presets or effects or something like that. It's pretty simple to find once you get into the Root folder, which is just named based of the...

I don't know about smoking (if any one does let me know cause that would suck) but loud headphones can definitely mess up your hearing. The SPL is going straight into your ear and that can cause some problems. Also with headphones you have to keep in mind that if you are trying to drown out backgrou...

I like the idea for track folders and other organizational stuff. Again, non-real time bounce to disk would be great. The only thing I've heard is that the processing for effects can get kinda messy with the non-real time bounces. Anyone know if this is true for sure?

Pro Tools, What should digidesign do next?

Hey guys, if you could force digidesign to do something in their next upgrade of PT, what would it be? Anything from new hot key, to interface design, to fader color.

I would like to have a few really cheap mics at my disposal becauses some of them can be used for an effect which can be cool given the right circumstancec. Having a cab with a really busted speaker can be pretty cool too sometimes.

I like the metal ones. You hear a lot of people saying that you get too much high end but I feel that people say this because they are used to the mesh pop filters which block out some of the highs. The metal ones are much more transparent than anything else I've heard. If you still want to go with ...

You'd probably be best off transferring to tools and then using the Pitch Shift audiosuite plugin. It's not the greatest pitch shift in the world but if you are only using it to go up a few cents then it should be totally fine. The plug-in is usually good up to a step or two without having audible a...

Sweet, I wish they would make a G Channel Strip. Also as opposed to just having the Black Series EQ, they should make a Brown EQ. I'm happy they didn't make a orange eq. Also good job on the PT7 compatability right out of the gate. Would've been a bummer otherwise for some.

Electronics/DIY Section?

I wish there would be some more technical articles. Something like build your own mic pre or microphone. Something like that. Anyone feel the same?

Every Ween album is a great one. I think one of their most underrated is 12 Country Greats. Live = Amazing. I own all of their releases (except for some live bootleg stuff but that is what weenradio.net is for). Oddly enough I listened to Quebec while checking out the new Tape Op today.

One that comes to mind, The Police "Everything little thing she does is magic". Sting hits one of the most flat bass notes I've ever heard. You can really hear it on the 5.1 mix. It's in one of the breaks right before the chorus. Not sure which but I think it's the second one.
