Re: I have a headache

I want more vocals. I like the guitar break at 2:30 and the drum/guitar match up in the part after. Maybe use a little compression on the electronic drums to make them a little more squishy in the last half. I think the first half is already squishy. But I dont know how much that helps cause I know...

Re: What Did You Work On Today? 1-05-05

Today I did some babysitting, practiced, worked on a painting, ate a lot of cookies, and watched the first disc of the Simpsons, season 4. Nice day.

Re: I have a headache

OOOOH I like it. Sounds good Bear. Can't say much just that it sounded great. I just got one question though where those acoustic drums? Thanks, sir. But yeah. Not a lot of acoustic drums on this record. 90% of it is sequenced, and most of the sounds don't come from drums, but from random noises. T...

Re: I have a headache

Holy shite Bear! I love this song. The only thing I would mess around is near the end where it double times. Try maybe just a touch less kick. Not much just a hair. Other than that I think my right testicle just did the Ashlee Simpson jig it was so bitchin' Awesome! Glad you liked it. And yeah, I w...

Re: Bring on the critiques

I like this. Good sounds, and as someone said, has a spaghetti western feel to it, which totally works. The "whatever's lying around" percussion is awesome, too. Good tip there from Mr. Vomitt. The electric guitar sounds sweet as well. The only thing I can think of is that, maybe in the latter half ...

I have a headache

This song is making my right eye twitch. It has 45 tracks, which is making it a pain in the b-hole to work with. I've been playing with it for a few days, and now my perspective is shot. So if you've got time to give me some opinions on the mix, I'll touch your butt or mail you a picture of me worki...

Re: Looking for a Mentor if possible

I heard that everytime someone writes something sarcastic or silly, an angel catches on fire and punches a puppy in the face. Think about that next time you wanna write something stupid, you assholes. I've heard this too, but I thought it was a kitten. You're probably right. I just don't like cats ...

Re: Who here plays percussion or drums?

I play, but I don't have a kit and have to hassle people to get something to play on. And I'm not amazing. But if you don't need something like one-handed drum rolls and I can find a kit to use, I might could help out.

Re: Looking for a Mentor if possible

I'm a mentor of sorts. I once taught a man to tear phonebooks in half with his mind, and to summon forth creatures of the forest by massaging nearby trees. His name was Rod Stewart, though during his time as my disciple, I refferred to him as "The Rodular Being." I later taught a man to speak dolphi...

Re: Good names for record stores...

I don't know anything about business, but from a customer point of view, I've always liked it when there's a variety of music on the overhead speakers. There used to be a record store in town where the employees actually played good music (of all kinds), and I bought a number of records from just he...
