Interior design ideas

I'm looking to remodel my control room soon, and am hunting for aesthetic inspiration. I thought there was an old TOMB thread of people's control room photos, but can't seem to find it with TFSF. Does anybody out there in TOMB land know of any good collections of control room images, or have some de...

I don't know if all LED bulbs are like this, but the ones I've checked out all seem too "strobey" for my taste, so fast movements like drumming, strumming, etc. seem to flicker. How are those Cree bulbs in that department?

Reaper, even the current version, is quite forgiving of PPC systems, and the developers are seemingly unique in the DAW world in that they prioritize backwards compatibility, so I think you could keep updating your PPC Reaper for some time without worrying. It also comes with very good bundled plugi...

My half-informed opinion would be that it would have to be more rigid to have much effect on the sound. Also, people seem to agree that if you can breathe through a fabric, you can hear through it. Subjectively, I've never felt that they made any sonic difference.

Sometimes I worry that I sound like a secret marketer for Reaper. I'm not. I don't work for or even know anyone at Cockos. I'm just an uberfan.

Your first best friend is the right-click. Right-clicking almost anywhere will bring up a useful context menu, so if you're ever confused, chances are that right-clicking in a relevant area will show you something useful. Your next best friend is the Action List (shortcut: command+"?" in mac, ctrl+"...

I built two LA2As (version 2, I think). I'm halfway through a pair of Redd47s as well. I love the LA2As.

I love Reaper to the max. I use it every day, and every day I love it more. I've used Cubase, Nuendo, Logic and PT, and prefer Reaper hands-down.

I'm not looking at mine right now, but I'm pretty sure the inside slides forward through the outer case, which is more of a tube than a removable top and bottom.

That being said, FMR are a great company to deal with. If you need to send it in, I'll bet they will charge little or nothing to fix it.

I like ATR the best among all tapes I've ever tried, from 456 to GP9 to BASF 900. I used RMG once, and it was the only time I've ever used tape and not felt the wonderful "aha! it's tape!" feeling.

Also, ATR is a great company to deal with.
