Right now I'm mostly writing/recording first and leaving it all to mix in one phase after this phase. I've already mixed what is the last track though, which I think is finalised... I love mixing more than writing, tell you that much.

I'm currently working on some liner art for the album... it's pretty cool that I can take photos of certain textures (ice, window insulation, turbine blades) and place them upon a tan/beige faked paper just so and make a worn scroll-type inside.

I didn't get it today. Maybe this week.

If you're just beginning with DAW's, I personally wouldn't suggest Logic just yet. It's not "logical" at first, but then again if you are willing to learn... I'm running Logic Audio 6 on a 15" Titanium Powerbook.

Mine are MDR-V300, but I don't mix with them (or any, for that matter). Just track. $50.
