Not too much info out there on these pres. Pretty sure they're from the "Grandson" console. Jensen input transformers give the pres a nice airy & open sound.

Some of the commercial analog machines actually benefit from staying on. I was told by John Stephens himself to keep my 24-track Stephens machine on - helped keep a constant temperature and avoided speed drift. Left it on for a 6-month stretch even...

2 channels of Auditronics 110 channels strips in a wood rack(mounted vertically - how it looks in the board)...recapped and really sound great...3 band selectable EQ(all +/-12dB) - Low: 150Hz or 300Hz, Mid: 1.8KHz or 4KHz, High: 7.5KHz or 12KHz....also high pass AND low pass filters....wired with XL...

I remember getting my 280 brakes fixed at my dad's auto shop. It's been about 10 years, so my memory has faded, but I recall replacing the actual brake pads. Did the trick.

I had one of these. Pretty hardball compression. Useful, but not the smoothest in my opinion. I think they have a mic pre and a line pre.

I use them for dry 70s sounding toms. Also decent on guitar amps as well. Very versatile mic!
