That was a good price on that Orban, considering the prices on ebay. I paid more just to have mine recapped by a well-known, rockstar tech.

I do see used NAD gear for reasonable prices on craigslist and ebay. Just make sure it has a phono preamp. Polk Audio speakers seem to be abundant and relatively cheap. The ported ones sound better.
