nice players guitar..fernandes vertigo..plus stomps and mic
as new fernandes vertigo x ...other than aftermarket paint job...this is only leaving me due to it's fret size...i like puny's and this thing has jumbos, but absolutely no buzzes or weird warpage or what have you...perfect player with nice low action...took me by its sound, but eventually BIG frets ...

maybe not ambience but
mixes are too seperated (i like the bleed through effect only can get with live) and too dull. playing everything myself one by one makes everything stand out too much...id like something to set everything together a bit smoother, as you can tell its hard to get my point across. Ill put it this way,...

next step up for outboard gear to add "ambience"?
having an awful room to record in has me leaning towards something (non-sofware) to add depth and space to my recordings. only have some of the basics but wondering if ad/da converter or equalizer is what i should think about? or better micpre? my puny/typical gear: eh tube micpre(like it), presonus...

what happened to the Kinks when recording?
Have always been curious as to why a large part of the Kinks recordings sound so ....undynamic? flat? While a fan of the Beatles, i find myself enjoying and listening to the underappreciated Kinks much more often. Granted, Kronicles sounds like it was put together with one fader up and the rest in t...
