I've always found the Super Nice mode on the RNC to be excellent for bass and drums. Just don't try and squash stuff with it or you get some nasty sounds.

It's about as low as Queen's "re-union tour with f*cking PAUL RODGERS as Freddy Mercury. How many tracks you want to run with how much processing? These are questions you must know the answers to. Also, how much dither you want and do you want to run other programs simulaneously.
