I have two professions in mind and would like to be able to support a family with either/or, a well paid professional engineer or a marde gras photographer.

Engineering a lucrative business?
I am wondering how lucrative being an engineer is? Can I support a family or will I be stressed most of the time?

I was wondering about this specific school. I heard alot about full sail in the recording school thread and some generalizations about schools like that but I would like to know some info about the conservatory. It would be helpful. I need to make a decision pretty soon and I am yet a ignorant young...

vocals not blending well
I am using a akai 16 track and when I plug the guitar directly in (though it sounds like shit) the vocals mix well with it. But I used an sm57 on an amp (and it sounds great) the vocals won't mix well. I did notice my levels were not as high on the guitar maybe that's it. Any help?
