no, the external frames are different. They don't physically fit.
Either way, I have 12 channels of pres, and would like 24, which is the main point I was getting at...

Urei/JBL 7510A or B modules wanted-
I have both mainframes and would like to finish one and perhaps sell the other at some point...but I have 8 channels of 'B' and 4 channels of 'A'.

I think you need to have all three. You need some CD's for what you need them for. You need downloadable stuff for ipod people, and I think having vinyl says something, too. You can get like 300 discs on a spindle for like $500 or less. Make up some custom packaging. That's way better than a plastic...

just built 32 panels with 4" Roxul, 4 lb, 2'X4'. Total cost, with covering fabric: $350.00. That's including the wood for the frames. The Roxul (mineral wool, rockwool, what have you) was like $30 a bag roughly, for four 2'X4' panels per bag (32 sq. ft). the 6 lb. was a little more, and 8 lb. a litt...

I paid $200 for a pair. They were okay. Then I sent them in to Michael Joly to be modded. Now they're awesome. I love 'em on overheads, smooth and accurate. i love 'em on acoustic guitars, on percussion, on guitar amps, on bass amps, you name it. I buy mics, I use'em for a while, and then if I don't...

Motu 24i/o user here- Once I got it to play nice with my software and computer, it's been fantastic. That took awhile though. Others have had less trouble than I, and I'll say that when I upgraded to a 64 bit computer and reloaded all the drivers they worked instantly and I had no trouble. So...if y...

Really amazing sound record: Tom Verlaine 'Warm and Cool'.
Has anyone else heard this? It really sounds great. It's a weird little record Tom did in the 80's-it's a guitar instrumental record, mostly a trio with stand up and drums. Really live recording, tons of bleed, just sounds so great. thought I'd share and see if anyone else is hip to it. Recent reiss...

Hi Jim, Afraid I can't get quite as specific as I am not the amp tech, just the player. I kept the tube rectifier as I like the little squish and being a single coil bridge pick-up guy, I don't mind the rounding off of the sound. strats and teles have more than enough high end to spare. My deluxe, a...

Hey Anthony- I certainly understand the frustrations of dealing with a constantly crashing computer, but I would be wary of switching to Mac if a PC is what you're comfortable working on the rest of the time. They are different. I've had both; mostly switching to Mac with the idea that it was 'bette...

yeah, this whole 'silver faced amps are not as good' stuff is at best a vast generalization, and at worst just a pile of hooey. I have a 1972 Deluxe Reverb that anyone in this area will agree is the best sounding Deluxe around. This includes a handful of folks that have actual blackface deluxes. Wha...
