Yeah I like their first album. I saw them open for My Morning Jacket. I believe they did all the recording at Eisley Mccain studios.

Im loving this record it sounds similar to the early Strokes records who is the guy singing anyway he sounds a lot like Julian Casablancas?

Kristallnacht album comes with a warning high frequencies

I read in Paste magazine that John Zorn recorded an album called Kristallnacht that came with a warning label about high frequencies. Anybody have any insight to how this album was recorded. Some of the tracks like Never Again are ear shattering.
