i even started pulling my left ear open a bit, and find the center image solidifies and makes more sense! so, i'm pretty sure its just "mechanical" as i can force the high freqs to return in this way. i'm pretty confident an ENT will sort this out.... ah, money. If you can pull your ear and change ...

This month in particular a whole wave of mid-size venues are opening. it's weird. More good bands are coming to STL, and more good bands are coming out as well. I hope you still have Mississippi Nights... playing that place was one of the highlights of touring for me, back in the day. Awesome crowd...

Cheapest Digital Signal
I use Lynx cards and mix to a Masterlink. Currently, I'm sending 48 to the Masterlink, and it's doing the rendering to Redbook. The LynxTWO's need to be fed a digital signal through the digital input in order to do internal conversion (48 -> 44.1). I would like to take advantage of the Lynx converte...

I had the same setup and would recommend Redco for cables. Very helpful people and totally reasonable.

Anyone else checking out "Threshold Apprehension"? Some great lyrics in this one. Can't wait to hear the rest of this album.

FWIW, I'm listening through pretty dim headphones, but the vocal tone sounds great and I like how the harmonies on the chorus are sitting. Sounds killer. May just be the mp3 or a stylistic choice I don't get, but the kick seems way too hot and overall it sounds like the track's being distorted by ma...

Sorry, but the subscription thing is a big reason as to why no one can catch up to Apple. I like owning my music, even a few tracks with Apple's DRM involved. It's nice to be able to pay once, and that is all. I disagree as well. I have subscribed to Napster for over a year now at $9.95. That allow...

+1 on having someone else do it. Just stepping up to someone who has better gear, as well as better ears, will make a huge difference. Back when I was finishing a tune that was elusive as hell, a guy here with Theta Rhythms out of KC offered to mix a tune for free. I sent him the files and he sent m...

Picked one of these up after reading about it on the board and went to tube depot and bought a variety of tubes to roll. Man, this thing lives up to the hype. I have a Takamine that sounds like ass and with a couple of different RCA tubes in there it just killed, using only an AT3035. Sounds like a ...
