This month in particular a whole wave of mid-size venues are opening. it's weird. More good bands are coming to STL, and more good bands are coming out as well. I hope you still have Mississippi Nights... playing that place was one of the highlights of touring for me, back in the day. Awesome crowd...

Yeah, that's what I was saying - not usually what I listen to, so I figured you may be trying to go somewhere stylistically. Still, it sounds like it's clipping instead of being what you're describing. Just my .02 though.

FWIW, I'm listening through pretty dim headphones, but the vocal tone sounds great and I like how the harmonies on the chorus are sitting. Sounds killer.
