I would just adjust the mic at the source till its in phase. Even if something is flipping the polarity on one amp or the other you could just move the mic to fix it.

Heres some feedback after using it for a little bit. I think the equipment sections should have an option for instruments, even if its just instrument but guitar, piano, drum, etc. would be nice.

Thats kind of a narrow minded view about it. Some see the whole packaging as part of the artwork so I don't see interesting packaging as being "vain". Just part of the whole artistic vision.

I just bought a Tascam DR-07. So far Im very happy with it. Im headed to ireland next week and my older digital recorded was big and sucky and needed upgraded.

On a similar note a studio I use to work at just got a new telefunken and while I wouldn't complain about the sound at all, the solder job on the inside is really sloppy and kind of disappointing for such an expensive mic. It obviously doesn't effect its sound but it makes you wonder about its relia...
