I hope it turns people away. We do have this crazy thing called the internet and if you live in a city, there's just no reason to go there. unless you want to actually try before you buy, then you need a brick and mortar store. of course. that was the "and if you live in a city" part. I'm lucky to ...

it won't make a bit of difference because they'll still have better prices than most average customers can get at mom and pop stores, so they'll continue to shop there, because people just HAVE to have their fucking deals, regardless of service or quality. wal*mart 101. Kill all the competition, th...

high ceilings and wood is nice. Wiring is a weird one cause there are a lot of variables. When you are into a place, you're going to have it inspected anyway. Just ask the inspector to pay careful attention to the wiring. You want things to be grounded. You would prefer to have mulitple circuits ava...

I dunno, if he and his caps know what they're talking about, seems like $25 might be worth it. He pretty clearly lays out the terms. Sure, a buyer may have better luck strolling down to the local hi-fi store and having a chat but a) they might get sold what's in stock and b) they might not have a hi...

with a gate, trigger an oscillator ("tone generator" in pt?) for each drum track, each at a different pitch (tuned to the song perhaps). Since most of the original drum machines we just synths based on a tone... Add a white noise tone generator to the snare track as well. Play with the release times...

for kick, a heil pr40 might make you happy. plus, it's good for lots of other things like vocals, guitar and bass amps and, well, pretty much anything I've put it up on. If it's out of budget, I'd skip the kick mic and cut a single 57 to make it happen. I own and love the pr40 but the shure sm7 and ...

I don't use xpand so pardon if this is silly but have you successfully used it on more than one track before? Is it meant to only be used once per session? Add a new track and add an xpand to that new track. Does the old one gray out? Sounds to me like either that or one of the two is inactive. Ther...
