I took a look through the pdf manual at http://www.antarestech.com/download/manuals.shtml and it looks pretty comprehensive. I don't know if you just got a quickstart or something, but the pdf seems to cover the bases.

Terrific, organic live room, scenic area and a bunch of Russian mics. Can't ask for anything more.

I acquired a pair ridiculously cheap and have used them quite a bit. Biggest complaint is that they're pretty noisy. But, for just home studio use they do a really decent job for the price.

Found out that it's actually 24 ch think I'll low-ball to $550 and see what he says.

A friend of mine is selling a 16 ch for $650, which strikes me as a pretty good deal considering I've read a lot of positive things about this board. Just wanted some feedback as to whether this truly is a good deal or if maybe I could do better. Thanks!
