Largo is anything but cheap. For a bunch of audio geeks seeing Join Brion would be pretty cool, not much of a place for conversation, but we could hit a different bar or Cantor's Deli afterwards.

My first thought was actually Beethoven's Fifth, as it has that really strong and simple motif.

Actually, I just picked up a used AT3035 on Sunday. To soon to really tell, but it sounded pretty good on my vocals and bass amp.

River - let us know how those 3031 and 3032s sound.

Thanks Drew,

That's kind of the way I'm leaning. Spend more and get better mics vs getting cheap mics and upgrading in a year. Any particular Audio Technica SDC you recommend? Mostly looking for drum overheads and acoustic guitar.

Delta 44 w/M-Powered 7 vs. Digi001 with PT ???

Hello, I've got an old Delta 44 (which works great) and I'm using Sonar 4, but I'd like to start working with Protools. Do think it would be best go with M-Powered or find a used Digi001? They should cost about the same, I'm just doing some home recordings right now so the 4 ins/out of the 44 are gr...

Tony, With all due respect, maybe it's time to modernize the process and be open to an integrated tracking/mixing process. Hopefully, we are already doing this when we are getting sounds to tape/hard-drive. Choosing mics and preamps, etc that will blend (mix) well together. We now have wonderful dig...
