Shawn got it. There's more stuff coming soon though. Resist the urge to go outside and intereact with the world. Stay on the TapeOp board until further advised.

Re: FS : Sansamp racmount
This is not the new vesion that you see go on ebay for 300-400. It's the older version. Yes it has handles, but so does the new one. Here's a pic of the new one (called psa-1) http://i10.ebayimg.com/02/i/01/6e/d1/86_1_b.JPG I can't find a pic anywhere of the old one, but I can tell you it isn't the ...

Re: What ADAT interface do you use with Digi001?
You can use an adat machine, but I recommend the Tango 24 made by frontier design. Thats what I use.
Other options are the Behringer ada8000 or the alesis ai-3. They're cheaper.

Re: Let us reflect, nay ruminate, upon echo pedals. Please.
For simulating the graininess and wash of tape delay this is the pedal to have, in my opinion. We have a MM, this ross and the korg 1000 previously mentioned. They all have their specialties and the ross' specialty is sounding like an echoplex with infinite repeate and a play/record head seperation ...

Re: Telephone Microphone?
I think the 4 lines in the telephone cord are hot, cold send, hot cold return. If you open up the mouthpiece on the phone you can test them for continuity. I wired up a 4 pin phone-xlr cord. That way you can plug any phone into it and use it as a mic. Just experiment with it; soldering is fun. Just a...

Re: LAST DAYS OF APRIL
Jesus, no Refused fans out there?! The Shape of Punk to Come completely changed my outlook on hardcore. Definitely one of my favorite records ever and extremely well recorded too. You may know of the lesser band that they started after they broke up, International Noise Conspiracy...

Re: How do you create space in your mixes?
http://messageboard.tapeop.com/viewtopic.php?t=4386&highlight=creating+createing+space Thanks, Electricide. I remember that thread, but most of that was about creating DEPTH, which I found helpful. What I am interested in is finding a way to fit together a bunch of instruments in the foreground. I ...

How do you create space in your mixes?
How do you guys deal with mixes that tend to fill up the entire soundfield? I use the usual subtractive eq and reverb tricks to keep things from competing but it's never quite enough. A good arrangement obviously mixes itself, but what do you do for indie/punk stuff where all the guitars and drums a...

Maybe I spoke too soon. I really don't have the kind of engineering/physics knowledge that those articles require. Are there any schematics out there or calculators like the H-pad calculators?

Re: How to make a hi pass filter
Anybody know where to look to find a schematic or an equation to figure out reesistor values? I typed into google ever combo of "Hi pass" "DIY" "how to" and "eq" but found nothing. If you don't mind a book, check out Don Lancaster's "Active Filter Cookbook" . This appnote is free, though. Of course...
