yeah, i live right down the road from there. i can't be 100% sure that the guy who put it together wired it the way it ought to be... but it plays great, and that's an easy fix if he didn't. i'm kind of hoping that i can solve this one myself, as if i take it into a shop, i'll end up wanting to put...

I've got several telecasters with that config (p-90 neck/tele bridge)
the volume diff shouldn't be that drastic.

Have you ever checked out Fretshop Phil at 5th Avenue Fretshop?

That guy is telecentric as all hell.

Listens to vinyl at work too.

the arms fold out but not totally out of the way. Maybe 20? on either side. Just watched this: http://www.hermanmiller.com/CDA/QTV/1,,979,00.html Looks like that does not really swing out enough. Does it bug you when playing guitar? It may not be as big an issue as I am imagining. I've used Aeron's...

most bassman 2 x 12 cabs are wired 4 ohms.

fender amps are pretty forgiving as far as the miss matched ohms thing goes.

If you do get the cab open it up. They shipped new with fiberglass inside. I like the sound better with out the fiberglass.

I like the AT's a lot.
we have 'em at the studio. Good sound/durable.

At home I work on the phones more. A couple years back I got a pair of Ultrasones. They are really nice.

Check out the Blueridge line of guitars. I own the BR180 and absolutely love it's tone. Although slightly different in sound, the quality of sound is comparable to a Martin D28. They have many different models in the Blueridge line that should fit your budget. http://www.sagamusic.com/catalog/produ...
