It sounds great that the UAD card is taking ome of the load off the main machine, but I would bet that the UAD processor is slower than a 12core machine.

Yeah if I had a 12 core machine, it seems that their hardware is merely a dongle that would slow things down.

But for people that have smaller machines, any amount of processing offloading would be helpful.
