Well maybe I think about it too much, but if my name ever gets attached to their stuff, then they ever get called out on their no-permission covers, do I become liable as well? OK so you say to just hand over the recordings and call it a day. Did any of you guys ever get questions about this from li...

Recording covers...

This may be a dumb question, but if I am recording a band that plays a cover or two, with obviously no permission from the original artist, where does that leave me after I spend time editing and finishing it off?

I just got that e-mail from UA and that 710 looks really interesting. I already have a 6176 so I'm wondering if this 710 will be my next entry in the latest gear thread.

Just don't try to look at their site using your iPad

I read thru the what's new in PT9 and the overlapping channels are cool along with the internal and external output busses. They finally give the mp3 option included. The production pack 2 is waaay too expensive. But if you want interchangeability with HD you'll pay the price. M-box and LE are gone....

If that's what you have use the Beyerdynamic M 160 positioned over middle c behind the hammers. Use a mic pre that can boost that ribbon enough for a good signal. You could probably borrow or rent Matched pair sdc and put them over that same spotting angled to low and high. Then go into a low noise ...

Not sure why photos are a hassle. Saves about an hour and you can save the files right with the session in a separate directory. If you get those photos in the large size they are really detailed and you can zoom way in to every knob.

Of course they don't work that well for a patch bay.

Where did you get that awesome headphone hat? I've looked everywhere and couldn't find a hat that had decent headphones.

RS- No. Brand new. Picked them up in NYC on my way in.

RB and Losthighway,- Hey thanks!

Haven't gotten a chance to try them yet. Their first job will probably be OH1 & OH2.

They come in this really cool little Pelican case
