Just did a show with Blitzen Trapper and their FOH guy is using them on all guitar amps. Forgot to ask him his opinion but the guitars sounded fantastic.

For compressors, I recommend picking up an older dbx 166 to start with. They're two channels and you can find them for $80-$120 all day long. That robot drummer looks pretty boss. I want to build one and start a one-man garage Krautrock band.

The music is not remotely my cup of tea but I dig their tech. Touring with a modular takes guts even if you're just playing simple lines, I hope they use it for some deep-space moments though.
