Hard drive for Pro Tools

Post by busdriver » Wed Dec 15, 2004 5:47 pm

I am buying a new external drive for my laptop and would like to hear what you guys are using. I've read good reviews on LaCie, Glyph and Quantegy.

Thanks

I have a glyph GT050 120 GB external hard drive and it works great. Glyphs are a little more expensive than some of your other options but they work great and have great customer service.

SNS fibre channel drives are amazing
incredibly robust and you can throw
anything at em....250MB per second
throughput,10,000 rpm drive speed,
you need an apple fibre channel card
or equivilent to run em,bulletproof...
