Motu HD896 + Cubase SE,SL,SX-- Anybody using?

Post by double helix » Thu Dec 23, 2004 12:56 pm

Is anybody using these two pieces of hardware/Software together,Motu HD896 + Cubase SE,SL or SX. I'm curently using digi001 + cubase 5.0 and would like to upgrade. Ive heard there can be driver issues between the motu HD896 and software other than Digital Performer. Anyone? :?

Thanks, Jonas

Since you mentioned Digital Performer, I assume you're on a Mac. I use a PC so I don't know how much this means, but I'm using Cubase SX2.0 with MOTU hardware (2408mkIII, 1224, and a 24i) and they work very well together.

I have an 828mkII and Cubase SX 1.5 (looking to upgrade myself)

No problems with the MOTU at all.

I'm running Cubase SX 2.0 with the MOTU 896HD. Works great! I'm very happy with the setup. I did not have any configuration issues during the setup process. I'm running a P4 2.8GHz w/ Hyperthreading, 800 FSB, 512MB Dual Channel Memory, Windows XP Professional, etc...

If you would like some help with the setup, I'm more than happy to offer assistance.
