Im using the emu 1820m card with Nuendo 2,
Now when im recording into Nuendo and have the levels peaking at -5db (in nuendo) they are peaking (0db & over) in the emu patchmix software..
ANy ideas?

never used patchmix but it sounds as if the meters in that program are emulating analog VU meters. they shouldn't even have anything above 0 if they are digital peak meters. if you A/B audio coming out of both programs are they the same volume? if not then you probably have a fader out of place or some processing going on somewhere...

Can you HEAR any distortion? What happens when you burn your mix to CD? Does it distort the disc?
