I'm fairly new to this computer recording (but not really to recording in general) and i'm having some problems with the emu 0404 soundcard i bought yesterday. it's installed and working (the mixer that runs it recognizes sound i play through it) but for some reason i cannot get any recording programs to recognize the sound. it came with cubasis, which i've been messing with just to figure it out, and i've changed all the setting to use the sound card, but still nothing. has anyone else had any problems with it? i have a feeling i need to change a setting in the software mixer but the thing is completely tedious and didn't come with any instructions. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

problem solved. i just didn't know how to use the patchmix dsp.
