Digital Performer/Audio Desk Min. Requirements

Anyone? I'm running mac G4 dual 450mhz , OS 10.3.7 and 640 ram.

How many tracks you want to run with how much processing? These are questions you must know the answers to. Also, how much dither you want and do you want to run other programs simulaneously.

Look for the MOTU-MAC group on Yahoo. Those folks can answer your questions.

You'll be fine with that setup but bear in mind that DP uses more power from the system than Nuendo does., You might want to look at a dual 1.3 processor upgrade from Sonnet. I did it on a single 500mhz and there was a gigantic speed increase without question.

Thanks guys. i should be up and running next week and we'll see how my computer holds up. I was looing up upgrades on macsales.com.
