Has anyone ever used this program? Seems like it could do some cool stuff and its free. Its based on CSound.

I played with it a tiny bit back when I went to Evergreen. One of my teachers thought it was worth taking a look at. It is a powerful sound manipulation tool, but it's got a learning curve. For free I say go for it, if you have the time to learn it.

I concur. If PD is anything like Max/MSP then it must kick some serious arse! Now that I've got Max/MSP to work with my digi-001 on all 8 channels I'm ready to fark things up. COOL STUFF.

Huh. Badass. I've been wishing for exactly this since my friend came over after his electronic music class at the U of M and showed me some of the stuff he'd been doing in csound. My head doesn't work very good for programming languages, but give me a GUI and I can wreak some havoc.
