I am running on a Mac w/ Pro tools and not much else. I am looking for an audio format converter, since PT doesn't output Window Media or Quicktime. WTF??
Anyone have a good program??
What do you use to convert audio formats?

You can mixdown to a WAV or AIFF with ProTools so.... what's the problem? Quicktime will play WAV and/or AIFF audio files just fine. Are you saving them to the Hard Drive as 44.1kHz at 16bit files?djdrake13 wrote:I am running on a Mac w/ Pro tools and not much else. I avoid iTunes to burn an audio disc for various legit reasons. I bought Toast Titanium and that works just fine for 44.1kHz/16bit listen copies. For mastering I'll still use Toast but those files are 44.1kHz at 24bit Data Files for the Mastering Engineer. I also avoid Media Player on both my Mac and PC like the plague, mostly due to conversion/re-coversion/compression/re-compression (ugly things are going on--that I can notice meaning: not GOOD).

I want Windows Media files mostly. It's for someone who requests that type of file.
