I'm using Nuendo 3/XP/Lynx AES 16/Apogee 800.
I think I've set up something incorrectly between the Nuendo/Lynx/and Apogee 800. I have the 8 inputs I should have, but I don't have 8 outputs. Only 4. If I set up a nuendo mixer channel to go through an output bus to output 1-4 I can hear it. 5-8 I can't hear it.
I was recording at 88.2/24. I can only have 8 in and 8 out on my Lynx at that sample rate but I should have all 8, not 8 in and 4 out.
I'm really new to DAWs so please let me know what other information I need to tell you for this to make sense.

Why do I only have 4 outputs through my Lynx AES16/Apogee800
Re: Why do I only have 4 outputs through my Lynx AES16/Apoge
Come on folks. Does anyone have any idea? What additional info do I need to provide to make this problem solveable?
Re: Why do I only have 4 outputs through my Lynx AES16/Apoge
Did you enable bus 5-8 in the VST outputs window (within nuendo, devices/vst ouputs/click the blue button on the right 4 faders?). If that doesn't work, did your lynx come with a utility that's running in the backround? If so, open it up, and unmute 5 through 8. If that doesn't work, read the lynx manual freq questions, or whatever.

Check with Lynx, but I imagine it's your sample rate. The number of outputs cuts in half once you go past 48k, I think.
