I'd be seriously surprised if there was a G5 Powerbook out before next year. Those processors are so massive and so freaking hot. Maybe next Spring, I think.

what sucks most is that they haven't offered up a dual G4 powerbook. that's a reasonable enough request. it would still be a power-hog. but seriously how often do you do pro work on the battery alone? so long as you keep 'em plugged in, a dual 1.5GHz G4 PB would be manna.
