Here's my latest Pro Tools problem:
I am using a Mac Powerbook:
Machine Model: PowerBook G4 15"
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (3.2)
Number Of CPUs: 1
CPU Speed: 1 GHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 256 KB
L3 Cache (per CPU): 1 MB
Memory: 1 GB
Bus Speed: 133 MHz
Boot ROM Version: 4.5.3f2
A DIGI002R and sometimes an Mbox
and an EZQuest Cobra 120 gig Pro Audio external hard drive.
Twice in the last week, while recording concerts live to 2 tracks using the Mbox, at exactly 22 minutes and 50 seconds the computer stops, with an error message, telling me that there is not enough disk space to complete the recording. I have gotten this message using both the external drive (which has over 70 gigs left on it) and on the internal (which has over 30 gigs left on it) I constantly wipe shit from the drives, repair permissions, etc. and this never used to be a problem. I would run 2 track for over an hour and half (which I know is a suicide mission) no problem. I'm not ruinning any plug-ins on the session either. What could this be? Thanks a lot.
Can anyone help?

Re: Can anyone help?
Somehow the default got reset from Open End Allocation to a timed one (22:50) Setups-Preferences-Operation-(bottom right Corner)
