S/PDIF Coaxial Cables

Post by Al_Huero » Thu Feb 10, 2005 9:08 am

Anything to look out for quality wise? I need a couple for short runs (less than 3 feet) between gear. The Monster Cable stuff seems outrageously expensive. I've tried making my own in the past (soldering RCA connectors onto cable; using F-connector-RCA adapters and crimping on the F-connectors) with limited success, so I'd rather by a factory cable. There are a bunch on e-bay for $5 or so; but just curious if there's a huge quality tradeoff here.
