How do you? ( Outboard gear into Digi 002 )

Post by sricabla » Wed Feb 16, 2005 12:42 am

I still don't get it... I want to hook up my Lexicon MPX 200 which is a 24 bit digital effects processor into the RCA SPDIF connectors in back of the Digi 002. I have the required In and Out connections for both devices. I'm stuck now. What should I do next?

Thanks in advance!

you should proly use the search feature of this here Internet Message Board.

you'll need to create two things: a way for signals to get to the lexicon and a way to get the signal back from the lexicon.

setup a send on a track or tracks. make that send to your 'spdif out'. turning that send up on the channel(s) will send signal to the lexicon.

then, create a stereo aux track. make the input for the aux track your 'spdif in'. turn it up and you should hear the original track all lexiconed up.
