Looking for a VST Compressor

Post by newguy12 » Mon Jan 19, 2004 10:01 pm

I have Cubase and am looking for a software compressor to augment my meager outboard compressor collection. Hence, any recommendations on VST or DX (if you must) compressors, free or otherwise, I haven't looked at my budget yet so for now price isn't a factor and I'm hoping to garner a variety of suggestions.

I'm not using cubase anymore but I really liked the built-in compression. I was listening to an old song of mine yesterday that used it heavily and I really dug it. If, by chance, you've been avoiding it, give it a try. I give another thumbs up to the fish phones.

Digital Fishphones has my heart, but I also like Kwik Komp - however, I can't seem to find a working link for you right now. Perhaps Google can aid you...
