Looks like I've missed 58 and 59 now -- anyone else?

Post by percussion boy » Sun May 27, 2007 12:58 am

Just had to buy 59 in a store. After buying 58 in a store. Nothing in the box.

Free Tape Op subscription was the last social entitlement I was clinging to in a decaying world.

Anyone else still not getting 'em?

I hate to be a "me too", but me too.

I don't know who stocks it around here, either so I guess I'm going to have to go to Tonevendor.

After missing two issues, instead of complaining, I think it's a good time to get a paid subscription. It'll have to wait, though. I spent my last $3 on a gallon of gas.

Hmmm...I missed 58 but received 59 last week.

That is the only issue I've ever missed in over 5 years.

When I missed 2 issues a few years back, I just re-subscribed online. Luckily I work at studios that subscribe, so snatching one of their several copies was not a problem. Never had a problem since.

Speaking only for myself, I wasn't complaining -- I mean, it's free -- but I did think it would be a good idea for the staff to know about the mssed issues, if lots of folks were missing 'em.

What keeps the mag free is the advertisers' confidence that it's reaching their target audience -- that is, us.

I also did not get 58, but got 59 a couple weeks ago and of course finished it immediately.
Anyone have any idea when 58 will be hitting the back issues page so I can order one? I don't believe there is any place in Lansing that carries the mag.

me too it's weird, I got a re-subscription notice email and promptly re-subscribed. Then I got another notice the next day and promptly re-subscribed again... Hopefully it got fixed that time...

I did the resubscription thing and all was well.

The latest issue is great, btw. Lots to think about. The interviewers actually asked followup questions.

I hate to have to say it, but 90% of the time that someone says we stopped sending the mag their subscription has run out. Either our reminders get thrown into a spam filter or the subscriber's email has changed.

Feel free to re-subscribe and if you start getting multiple copies email subs@tapeop.com. Thanks!
