I usually get the issues late but I'm guessing at this point I missed this one completely. Bummed cuz I really wanted to check out the Byrne article.

Just to reiterate: If a free subscriber (US/UK) doesn't renew every year then their subscription will lapse. We don't pick names out of a hat and knock you off the list to be mean. Really.
Check spam filters for renewal notices. Keep in mind that any time you move (or change your email address) you have to go online and fix your info (no, those cards the post office has you mail out don't do shit). The best recourse to fix an errant subscription is to sign up for a new sub. If you start getting 2 copies give one to a pal or log on and cancel one. Easy.
We don't use a subscription service company to handle this stuff - it would be cost prohibitive. It's just a simple database setup and a guy checks it every 2 months and goes through the emails sent to the various subscription@tapeop.com kinda addresses at that point only. I hope this makes sense.
