An Article Suggestion

Post by orbb » Thu Nov 10, 2005 6:48 am

Larry, et al - I don't know if you are aware of the debate going on at Fletcher's forum on about the loss of bottom end when transferring to PT from tape - here's a link: ... 38b44ab20c

Anyway, they are setting up a test to prove or disprove this. It will be November 18 in Chicago, and Steve Albini and Fletcher are two of the testers. Might make for an interesting article for a future TapeOp.

Great idea! Larry, can you see about maybe getting a paragraph or two out of each of the people present to assemble for an article. I think it'd be really interesting.

Should I try to go, and submit a short piece about it? I know Ron Steele, who is one of the guys setting it up.

If not me, Lou Carlozo is still around Chicago, yes? He's written for TO in the past.
