The book is amazing. I hide it from myself so I can get work done...

I'll be checking my mailbox daily.

Has anyone received it yet? The books were supposedly shipped last week, right?

I thought so. I keep hoping every day when I get home, but alas. This is definitely one of those times when the East coast folks are SOL.

IF you get one in your hands soon (some arrived today), please start a new thread, as it keeps people from re-reading all the old news and posts. Thanks.

No sign of mine yet. Has anybody gotten theirs yet, aside from Larry?

Aren't they shipping out in order of when the pre-order was placed?

At the moment, the books have sold out the first pressing - thanks to everyone who got one. There are several thousand more coming soon, but we don't know when. However, if you're thinking of one as a Christmas present, we'll at least send you some things to put under the tree...

We just got home from a book release party at Abbey Road; it became a reunion of most of the staff of the Beatles records: many of them had not seen each other since the 1960s!!! We'll find some place to post pics and stories of it all soon; it was a magical day, and made a lot of them happy to get together again.

Brian,

I'll echo everyone and state that you and Kevin did a wonderful job in putting together a truly outstanding book. It's amazing!

Recordproduction.com recently published a recap of the Abbey Road event with plenty of pictures. Hope you don't mind me posting the link:
